Divine Liturgy: 10:00am
Divine Liturgy lasts about 1 1/2 hours and is followed by coffee hour.
The Divine Liturgy is predominately in English with some Greek
Children of all ages are welcome in the Divine Liturgy. We also have available free, licensed child care for children under age 5.

On Sunday mornings, you will find greeters outside the front door of the church to assist you.

Hello and Welcome to St. John the Divine Greek Orthodox Church:
The Greek word Φιλοξενία (Philoxenia) means Hospitality. For over 90 years, St. John the Divine has been proudly serving and ministering to the needs of the Orthodox Faithful in Jacksonville. Quite simply, our goal is to witness and share the teachings, compassion and hospitality of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and His Church with you.
On behalf of our membership, we invite you to attend Divine Liturgy on Sundays at 10:00 am. Our Hospitality Committee members will be delighted to guide you through the service and introduce you to the community afterwards during our coffee hour. Our congregation, although having its roots in Hellenism, is composed of many diverse ethnicities, including Arabic, Russian, Albanian, African-American, Ethiopian, Serbian, Korean, etc.
