After much discussion, and under the leadership of Fr. Nicholas Louh, we have decided that summer is no summer at all without Vacation Bible School. We have decided to unveil “STAY”cation Bible School, an opportunity for you and your children to join our program virtually from the comforts of your own home on June 22-26.
Our theme this year is Quest for the King’s Armor, where our brave knights will go on an adventure in search of the King’s Armor. They will explore New and Old Testament stories and discover different pieces of protective armor (the Belt of Truth, the Breastplate of Justice, the Shoes of Peace, the Shield of Faith and the Helmet of Salvation) and explore how the armor works in their own lives as they follow and serve God.
We will offer our typical rotations (Welcome Video/Teaching, Arts and Crafts, Music and Service Projects/Activities) that will take place on Zoom. Each rotation will run for 25 minutes with a 5 minute break in between, except for Welcome/Teaching which will run for 40 minutes. As we get closer, we will send an email with a list of items you will need along with the access codes to enter the program.
To register, please click here. There will be no fee associated with our program this year. However, we would like to encourage you to consider donating to our COVID-19 fund which is used as an aid for those in need during this difficult time through UCOM, BEAM, and the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese COVID-19 Relief Fund. You can donate on our website, through our app or simply by mailing us a check with the memo line reading VBS.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at [email protected] or 904-396-5383×12.
Looking forward to virtually seeing you at “Stay”cation Bible School! We miss you all so much!
